The arrival of the next level of development at The Point is upon us. Over the next several weeks we will journey together as we continue to move forward and advance into new areas of ministry, vision and being. These are tremendously exciting times in the life of this church and we are boldly embracing God’s call by responding in faith to the vision of BEING the church. The NEXT LEVEL will bring new and exciting developments in every area of church life.
We’ve updated the music page with a recording of “You Are Near” by our praise band. The track was recorded live during the August 19th service. We’ve also added the same flash audio plugin that is used on the sermons page to each song on the music page. Look for more recordings to be posted in the coming weeks. Enjoy!
What Is a Missional Church?
Posted on July 2, 2007 by admin
The mission of God (missio dei) is to proclaim the good news of salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. So what does this look like in the local church? What does a missional church look like? And how is ‘missional’ drastically different from ‘missions’? For the next couple of weeks, Pastor Rick Long will be teaching and writing on the idea of being ‘missional’.

StartingPoint Wraps Up
Posted on May 26, 2007 by admin
Our first session of StartingPoint has come to an end. The six-week seminar enabled our new members (essentially all of us!) to learn more about The Point. We had great attendance each week. In the event that you missed a session or two, we have posted all of the audio on the StartingPoint page. We’re working on adding notes in the very near future.
If you’re not able to download or listen to the audio, we have produced MP3 CDs of the entire seminar. Copies are available to pick up at The Point.
